Common Paper's free plan lets you send agreements natively or collect signatures on uploaded agreements at no cost. You can send up to 2 agreements per month.
Once you've reached your monthly limit, Common Paper blocks further sends until your count resets or you upgrade.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some more details about the plan.
What counts as a sent agreement?
A sent agreement is either a native Common Paper agreement sent to a recipient, or an uploaded agreement sent out for signature. The following don't count toward your monthly limit:
Voided agreements
Deleted signature requests
Uploaded agreements that were already fully signed when you added them
I've mistakenly sent an agreement and hit the limit - how can I send another?
If either of your agreements are in-flight (unsigned or partially signed), you can void the agreement (or delete the agreement if it's an uploaded signature request). This will reduce your sent agreements and allow you to send another.
If you've sent your 2 agreements and need to send another, upgrade to one of our paid plans.
When does the month roll over?
Your monthly limit resets one month from your signup date, not the calendar month. You can see your specific rollover date on your Billing page.
How many users can I add?
You can add as many users to your organization as you'd like on the free plan - all free plan users are admins. If you upgrade to a paid plan, you'll be billed per user, so it's worth removing any users you no longer need before converting.
What features does the free plan include?
The free plan includes all of Common Paper's core features and agreement types, along with MagicBill, API/MCP access, the Slack integration, and webhooks.
