Pilot Period is a variable that appears in the Software License Agreement Cover Page, in the Order Form section. This section is for your agreements' key business terms.

How to fill this out

Do you want to provide a free trial or pilot period to your customer before their paid subscription begins?

Default: No pilot period

Including Pilot Fees

You can optionally choose to include fees for the pilot. These fees use the same currency as what's configured in the Cloud Service fees.

If you are using MagicBill, these fees will be the first invoice generated for a customer to pay.

Include modifications to the Agreement that apply only to the Pilot Period

This optional addition allows you to insert additional language to the agreement to modify any standard terms or add special terms just for the duration of the pilot period. This is often done to reduce or eliminate certain warranties and liabilities during pilots, and add the ability to terminate the agreement before the pilot ends.
