After working through a review in Gerri, you can generate a draft email to send to your counterparty summarizing the issues and redlines you're pushing back on. Gerri pulls in everything that wasn't accepted and turns it into a ready-to-copy email body - no manual summarizing required.
Generating the Draft
The Draft a Response button is available on both the redline review and clean agreement review pages under the Actions menu.
Click Draft a Response to open the email drafting panel. Gerri automatically compiles all review items that were not accepted - rejected redlines in a redlined agreement review, and confirmed issues in a clean agreement review. If you generate the email before finishing the review, any items still marked Needs Review are included as well. Accepted items are never included.
Adjusting Tone and Content
The draft uses a neutral tone by default. If you want to change the tone or refine the content, use the chat to tell Gerri what to adjust. For example, you can ask Gerri to make the email more formal, soften the language around a specific clause, or add context to a particular issue.
Sending the Email
When the draft looks right, click Copy to clipboard to copy the body text, then paste it into your email client.
NOTE: Gerri generates the email body only - it does not draft a subject line. You'll need to write one yourself when composing your message.
