Gerri can monitor your Gmail inbox and automatically route redlined agreements to the system to get analysis.

How it Works

Once installed, our Gmail integration will monitor only the inboxes of any email address that has a user account within your Gerri organization. It inspects each incoming email and looks specifically for attached redlined DOCX files and routes them to Gerri for analysis against your playbook, and then emails the results back to the inbox the file came from.

Requirements

In order to use the Gmail integration, you'll need to have a Google Workspace. Additionally, only an admin for the Google Workspace can set up the integration.

NOTE: The integration will not work on gmail.com email addresses.

Setup

Open your Google Admin Console and navigate to Security → API Controls → Domain-wide Delegation.

Under API Clients, click “Add New,” enter the details below, and click “Authorize.”

Return to Gerri and click on Integrations. Click on Test Connection to verify that everything is set up correctly.

Once the verification is complete, Gerri will begin monitoring the inbox of each Gerri user that is in your Google Workspace.

Disabling the integration

To stop the monitoring process without removing the integration entirely, navigate to the Integrations page and toggle the Active slider. Once this is done, Gerri will no longer inspect attached inboxes.

Toggling the integration back on will start the monitor again. Note that any emails received during the time when the integration has been disabled will NOT be processed once the integration is re-enabled.

Removing the integration

In the Google Admin Console → Domain-wide Delegation, simply delete the API client. This will remove Gerri's access to your Google workspace.

Once this is complete, return to the Integrations tab and click the verify here link to ensure the integration has been removed.
